The two most important days in the life of every student are the day of matriculation and the day of graduation. For students, it signifies the day you declare to the world that you have left the secondary school environment with its school uniforms. I am sure that many of you matriculants have planned to take pictures today with your friends to mark this glorious occasion. You have every reason to be proud of yourselves for gaining admission to this very competitive and innovative school of our time. I say in my own word that it is a grace and not your merit and God already planned it to be so ever before you are created.

On a more sober note however, matriculation also marks the beginning of an official partnership between fresh students and the University, a partnership that will continue for the next Two years at least, hopefully more as you become alumni. I say ‘partnership' because it is two-sided. On our part we would provide facilities; books, staff, classrooms, and other forms of support. On your part, you must commit yourselves to learn, to develop character and emerge from here as good citizens equipped for life, so don’t forget what the bible teaches in 2 Tim 2:2 AND 2 Tim 3:16.

True to this partnership is our shared faith in one God and His son Jesus to provide the moral compass for the years ahead.

For some of you, entering the school signifies the freedom to do the things you have always wanted to do without restriction. But freedom does not mean staying out all night,

or drinking large quantities of wine. Nor does it mean wearing indecent clothes. Freedom does not mean the absence of control. And so today you will be signing an oath to abide by the rules and regulations of this Institute and to allow yourself to be molded during your period of stay with us. You should not do this lightly. In a sense, you are embarking today on a momentous journey of self transformation and learning that will give you the tools to become a more effective person for yourself, your society and your nation. For this reason alone, you need to think about the oath you are about to pronounce and to say it with understanding and commitment. Your attitude to life will eventually determine how far you will go in life. If you recite the oath without thinking about it and pass through the ceremony like just another event, you may miss the fundamental challenge that this day poses to you; an opportunity to re-assess your life, to confirm to yourself that you are here to gain not only a piece of paper, but to be prepared to become an achiever in life. Our Institute will be fulfilling its part of the bargain by continuing to provide you with the facilities that you need. This session, we have spent a lot of money in order to produce your handouts (e.t.c). You are always on our minds to do more as the needs arise. So staff and students alike must remain on their toes and apply themselves with steadfast commitment on a daily basis.

Final words to matriculants are avoid friends who will not add to your life and the temptat

Minimum Admission qualification is Born-Again and literacy. We teach remedial English languages, student must attend 75% of the classes to graduate, attendance is marked daily.

v  The purpose of our Diploma in Theology is to lay a solid theological foundation for grandaunts and make them good Branch Pastors. Outreach/Crusade Director Etc.

v  Bachelors Degree: Our Bachelors Degree is to make a leader out of a Pastor and prepare him for the office of a Bishop or District overseer.

v  Masters Degree; The purpose of our master degree is to make him/her an authority in his or her chosen field. A true Master, possessing internationally acclaimed knowledge.

Doctorate Degree; since Education involves more than teaching and listening, our Doctoral programme is aimed at making research fellows of the grandaunts, a person forming

v  His position on facts and justifiable analysis of collated facts and figures.

v  Every student takes a written examination and undertakes a supervised research at the end; he or she will submit a project in partial fulfillment of his requirement for a degree.

ADMINISTRATION

The school has a Vice-chancellor who provides leadership for the school under the leading of the Holy Spirit. There are more senate which advises the Vice Chancellor on policy formulation, public Relations and governmental affairs.

All lecturers and Heads of College are grouped into Academic Board which advises the Vice chancellor on curriculum development, examination and student grading.

The Registrar who runs the secretariat sees to it that all fees are collected and relevant materials made available to the lecturers and students. He is also in charge of documentation.

We have full time and guest lecturers whose duties are to impact knowledge into students. Lecturers are encouraged to specialize, so as to become professor’s later in their chosen fields.

Each lecturer conducts examinations and test, marks are given and submitted to his/her Head of Institution (HOI) each campus (Teaching Centre) is headed by an administrator who provides leadership. All Campuses are autonomous except in areas like curriculum development, examination and certification which are centralized.

Students can transfer from one campus to another with proper documentation, we also accept students transferring from other Bible College without demoting them or condemning their school.
